As any modern love story starts, Jess and Brett met on an app! “We met on Hinge and immediately bonded over our love for Sunday football and relaxing on the beach! Our first date was at Jacksons in Reston Town Center, which is still our favorite date night spot. The first date taught us both a valuable life lesson… it would be hard to spend even a day apart.” That night, Brett asked Jess to attend the Beer Fest at Nationals Park the following day which solidified the couples love of both Washington Sporting Events and Craft Brews. They have been inseparable ever since! "From family get togethers to chill weekends at home, I can't imagine life with any one else. Life is definitely better together!"

On a magical July morning, Brett planned an early morning convertible road trip to Skyline Drive. After a beautiful hike up to the Hawskbill Observation Platform, Jess dangled her feet off the edge and Brett asked a fellow hiker to take a photo of the couple. Unaware to Jess, Brett got down on one knee and the couple promised to spend the rest of their lives together. Between tears, Jess managed to say “YES!”. After the couple celebrated at the top with a champagne toast, somehow Brett managed to make the day even more memorable.
