Lukas and Brendon grew up playing football together on the hallowed rec fields in Cottonwood Heights, UT. Since those golden days of touchdowns and early morning practices, they've lived it up in college dorms together, lost at beer pong, and even walked down the aisle together as fellow groomsmen. Lukas is stoked to stand next to Brendon as he tackles this next chapter of his life.
Bre Sahleen
Best Woman
Bre has the distinct pleasure of counting both the bride and groom among her best friends. Bre has known Brendon since their days roaming the halls of Brighton High School. In college, she lived next door to him and coached him through the highs and lows of dating. When he brought Jess home, it was love at first sight for both of them. Jess and Bre have been friends ever since, and Bre is thrilled to stand behind her as she marries Brendon.
Max Heine

Max and Brendon met at Utah State University while working in the student orientation office. They bonded in the early days over reading, sports, and Wendy's 4 for 4s, eventually deciding to live together during Brendon's last semester of college. Brendon was honored to be a groomsman at Max's wedding in 2021. Max is excited to now serve as Brendon's groomsman as he marries the love of his life.
Johnny Perez
Bridesman
Johnny and Jess have been friends for over a decade. They met one fateful day when Jess came into class as a new kid and bullied him into letting her do their entire partner assignment by herself. Lucky for her, he didn't hold it against her and they've been friends since. Johnny took Jess to her very first Homecoming Dance, ran with her at many State Track meets, and made the bleak nights of college seem bearable. He's honored to be one of the two men Jess's dad has ever approved of.
Yusuf Mumin
Groomsman
Yusuf and Brendon first bonded over which rappers had the best ad-libs at the time and the popular podcast "The Bodega Boys". Their love of food, beverages, pop culture, and music has lasted over the years, only getting stronger each time they try a new restaurant together or discuss which Drake song has the corniest lyrics. They have a brand of humor that often only they can understand. Yusuf is ready to bring the laughs and good times to Jess and Brendon's wedding.
Martha Zaugg

Marph and Jess met while they both worked in Park City. The two of them ran their office with an iron fist and a whole lot of laughter. Along the way, they became besties and the greatest hype women around. Martha is so excited to make sure everyone has as much fun as possible while Jess and Brendon tie the knot.
Erik Olson
Groomsman
Brendon met Erik through Lukas during their sophomore year of college. They would both go on to serve as student representatives in the student government at USU where they spent countless hours on the 3rd floor of the student center. They're both bread bakers and appreciators of fine cuisine. Erik broke the news to Brendon when famed author and chef Anthony Bourdain passed away in 2018. Erik serves as an amazing host and tour guide if you're ever looking to travel to Washington D.C. He can't wait to watch Jess and Brendon walk down the aisle together.

If Jess is the "Mom Friend" to her friends, Dax is the "Dad Friend." When they met in college, Jess not only gained a wonderful, insightful friend, but someone to manage the phone plan. ;) From sound life advice when things are tough to heated evenings spent over the Ticket to Ride Board, there's no one else Jess would rather let manage her data plan.
Glen Petersen

Glen is the type of friend you stumble upon one day and never stop hanging out with. Brendon met Glen in a hot tub while Glen was drinking a glass of alcoholic root beer and the rest was history. Brendon and Glen have lived together, traveled together, gambled together, gotten tossed around on a tube together, cooked together, and spent countless summer nights arguing about the NBA. Glen can't wait to stand by Brendon when he marries Jess.

Bridget and Jess are the poster children for the term "cut from the same cloth." From their long hours sweating it out under the orange lights of OTF, to late night Diet Coke runs, there's nothing like a little J + B QT. Bridget is thrilled to add "See Taylor Swift Live" and "Watch You Get Married" to the list of things she's done with Jess in 2023.

Nick shares in the special power of being able to speak a secret language that he, Brendon, and the rest of the King's Retreat boys only have access to. Nick is Brendon's go-to consultant for advice and info on fashion, culture, cocktail recipes, and Oasis tracks. He can often be found gardening, curating the KR mood board, or reading the NYT at Westside coffee in Logan, UT.
Blake Harms

Blake and Brendon first met in 2016 when they were young, spry, and ready to take on the world. Blake and Brendon could talk about nothing for hours. So much so, that they started a podcast about music and talking to their friends about the tunes that mattered to them. The podcast is gone, but they still find ways to connect over food and current trends. When Blake is not officiating weddings, he is shaping the young minds of America as a professor and working toward a PHD at Arizona State University.
