Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We ask that our guests come dressed in their best formal attire. Think suits for the men, and long cocktail dresses for the women. Please no jeans, mini dresses or sneakers. Please note that on the way to the ceremony, there is a 5 minute walk on gravel that is not paved. Feel free to bring a pair of shoes to change into!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Yes! We have a party bus scheduled to pick our guests. For more information, see the "Schedule" tab.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely, please include this information with your RVSP.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The venue has a large parking lot. If you choose not to take the shuttle, you may park as you please. Please note your car must be retrieved from the parking lot by 10am Sunday.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, the ceremony and reception is an adults only event. We hope you can let loose and enjoy the evening with us!

Can I bring a date?

Unfortunately due to venue limitations, only the named guests on the invites may attend.

We have a hotel block set up at Best Western Silver Saddle Inn (See Travel section).

What if we want to keep the party going?

Answer

We agree that 9:30 is too early to close out the night! We will be having an after party at Wheel Bar in Estes Park (132 E Elkhorn Ave, Estes Park, CO 80517). Drinks and food will be available for purchase. The party bus will be running from 9:30pm-12:30 am to take you back to the designated hotels.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Fall weather in Colorado is truly unpredictable, especially in the mountains. We will be checking the forecast as we get closer, but be prepared for anything from warm and sunny to cold and snowing. The sun is also much stronger at high altitude!

What about the booze?

Answer

Open bar! Please come hydrated and remember, 1 drink at altitude is equivalent to 2 drinks at sea level. We cannot wait to celebrate with you!

What's the altitude?

Answer

The venue, Wild Basin Lodge, is at 8310 feet. Estes Park is at 7522, and Denver is at 5280.
