Jess and Billy met through a mutual friend Jason Fusco, at the Fells Point Festival in 2013. Over the course of that year they would occasionally run into each other while out in Canton. Fast forward to the following year, Jason convinced Billy to join his Kickball team where Jess also played. The kickball games every Thursday quickly became a day Jess and Billy would look forward to every week. Their weekly kickball game meetings turned into dates around the city. Although admittedly neither one was looking for a relationship at the time, Billy and Jess found an unexpected connection. As they learned more about each other they found out that they had a lot in common including their interest in each other. This unexpected relationship was different from ones in the past. They felt as though they were home with each other. Baltimore City is where they first met and fell in love, it will always be a special place for them.
