Yes! If you would like a seat on the bus please note that on your RSVP so that we can make sure we have enough room for everyone. Buses will be able to bring you from the Kona Kai to the ceremony venue starting at 4:30 PM. We will also have transportation to bring you all back from the venue to the Kona Kai throughout the night until 11:30 PM.
The Admiral Kidd Catering and Conference Center is located aboard Naval Base Point Loma Annex. Plenty of parking is available at the Center, however you will need your base access pass to get on base.
We are required to submit the names of guests for a background check two weeks prior to the event. Once approved, each guest will receive a base access form that will allow them to enter the Annex.
Yes and no. Due to base policy, Ubers are not allowed to drive through the main gates. The walk from the gate to the Admiral Kidd Conference and Catering Center is approximately half of a mile. We would highly recommend Ubering to the Kona Kai and hopping on one of our shuttles to get you dropped off right at the venue so that you don't have to make that trek across base!
