We met during what we both thought was going to be a casual night of drinks with friends. Andy had been asked by his friend Rob, who he met during his college study abroad program, to tag along as he was meeting up with three girls from work. Jess, being one of those girls, was the last to arrive and surprised to see a new face there. We hit it off and got to chatting, and well... never really stopped.

Our first vacation together was Halloween 2019 in New Orleans for Voodoo Fest. Under the disguise of attending another music festival (this time Jazz Fest), Andy suggested we go back to the Big Easy. That day, we started with one of our favorite vacation activities: coffee and a walk around the city checking out the architecture. Unknown to Jess, Andy was leading us back to a beautiful house Jess had pointed out the day before. He lead her up the stairs to pop the question!
