Beautiful sculpture grounds with pieces by Rodan and other well-known artists. Rat’s Restaurant is tucked away on the grounds and is a hidden gem.
If you’re a history buff like Justin, definitely check out this revolutionary war battlefield. While you’re at it, head over to the Princeton Campus and see the cannon and Nassau Hall, where George Washington and his troops camped.
Walk around the adorable downtown area of Princeton and the Palmer Square shops. Grab a coffee from Small World and or a sweet treat from the Bent Spoon. Another classic is Thomas Sweets (better known as “T Sweets” to Princetonians). If you’re looking for a dinner spot, Teresa’s Caffe is one of Jess’s favorites.
For all of you NJ-naysayers, these botanical gardens in the small town of Hamilton may make you reconsider your opinion.
