Like all modern love stories, ours began on Hinge—with a picture of Richard eating chicken wings and Jess posing with her cat, Olive. Jess wasn’t necessarily looking for someone whose most prominent photo involved buffalo sauce, but something about Richard’s unapologetic confidence (and questionable napkin use) caught her attention.
