In lieu of traditional cards, we are asking guests to bring a DVD to help us build our in-home Block Buster. The movie can be meaningful, nostalgic, or just your favorite. It does NOT have to be related to weddings or marriage. Please includes any notes or well wishes inside the DVD case. We look forward to rereading them on family movie nights for years to come! This will absolutely make our day!! Building our DVD stock has been one of our favorite ways to spend time together. Having you guys be a part of that means so much.
Please do not feel the need to go out and buy a brand new $20 DVD. Any you have lying around your house are perfect. You can also find them at Goodwill for about $3 or Walmart's discount bin for $5.
We kindly ask that you respond by August 22nd. After this date we will assume you cannot make it and our final guest count will be sent to our vendors.
You will be missed! We would love to celebrate with you in person, but stuff comes up, and we understand. For this reason, we will be streaming the ceremony on Youtube. Please just RSVP no and look up Tacoma Christian Reformed Community Church at the ceremony start time.
Although we would love for you to be in attendance, we understand that life happens. In the event that you can no longer attend, please notify us as soon as possible.
In effort to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. Your formal invitation will be made out to everyone included. If you have more than one person in your household invited, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.
To keep our guest list within our designated limits, we are only able to invite the children specifically named on the formal invitation. Please refer to your RSVP card to see who is included in your party. Also, please remember that the churches nursery will not be open for child care.
We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us in theme! So, we are requesting that all of our guests dress in black semi formal. Both the ceremony and dinner will be inside. However, the sanctuary can be a little chilly at times.
We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. The greatest gift you can give is being fully present when we say " I do". Our photographer will capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them.
The Church has Plenty of parking. There will be some reserved spots at the front for our older guests. Please be respectful of the signs.
There will be a gift table, but mailing something from the registry is also super convenient—it already includes our shipping info.
There will be no alcohol on the premises. However, there will be water, lemonade, and coffee available.
