Wander in Cajas Park + Trout lunch

10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Hiking shoes (sneakers with some grip are fine) there may be mud, pants, LAYERS, scarf, hat (it is cold and windy). Jacket that can take some rain.

We'll meet outside of the hostel and go to Cajas (about 45 min drive), hike around, take pictures, and then go have lunch. Bring cash for your lunch, some snacks just in case and water. The altitude is higher in the park.

Happy Hour

4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

La Cigale
7-80 Honorato Vásquez, Cuenca, Azuay, Ecuador

Casual

Happy hour starts at 4pm so depending when we get back from Cajas people can come when they like to happy hour. We probably won't be able to reserve a table and they can get busy so if you want to come, arrive on time so we can sit together. They have cheap drinks ($3) and food as well. Make sure to bring cash as they will not split checks!

River Empanadas

8:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Empanada stand by the river and Parque de la Madre

This is our favorite spot for empanadas and morocho (a hot rice drink). They have a vegetarian empanada. This is a stand that you order various empanadas and sit down and eat them on the ground or a bench. Very casual and always packed!
