We planned our wedding celebration with the assumption that all guests (who are over the age of 5) will be fully vaccinated. If you are not fully vaccinated, we request that you do not attend. We are requiring vaccination against COVID-19 so we can do our best to keep our immunocompromised family and friends safe as we celebrate. Masks *are* required inside the church for the ceremony. (Updated 7/11/2022) If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you stay home and find another time to celebrate with us.
The ceremony will begin at 3:30 pm, so plan to arrive 15-20 minutes early for parking and mingling before we begin.
We have placed a buffer between the ceremony and reception so that we can bring everyone out on the front steps of the church for a group photo, and then everyone can travel the 3 miles (7-15 minutes depending on traffic) to the reception venue. We have reserved the Highland Picnic Pavilion for the entire day, so you can head on in whenever you arrive at 1200 Montreal Ave, Saint Paul, MN 55116.
Explore St. Paul's lovely neighborhoods! Close to the church, you can take a stroll down Selby Avenue to the St. Paul Cathedral. There are plenty of fun restaurants and breweries throughout the city: let us know if you want a recommendation! Near our church, we like Revival and the Iron Ranger; and in the West Seventh Neighborhood (near the reception venue), we recommend The White Squirrel, Waldman, and A-Side Public House. Take a walk or a bike ride along Mississippi River Boulevard or Summit Avenue, or visit one of the major parks: Como, Phalen, or Hidden Falls. You could also go see a minor league baseball game (the Saints) at CHS Field in Lowertown Saint Paul or to a major league soccer game (MN United "the Loons") at Allianz field in the Midway.
Nope! While this is our wedding hashtag, neither of us will be changing our names.
We have always agreed that the center of our wedding day will be celebrating, being surrounded by loved ones, and setting the tone for our life together as a married couple. Since it was not safe or healthy to all gather in May 2020, we made the decision to postpone our wedding celebration to July 16, 2022. Our commitment to each other and our community has not changed.
June 10, 2022 is the last day to RSVP, but we'd love to hear from you before!
