It’s happening!

Our Story... One afternoon, my roommate and one of my best friend’s (Jessica) and I went to the CSU Men’s Lacrosse game. At half time, the boys came to the end of the field Jessica and I were sitting at. I saw this guy (AJ) stretching on the sideline with long, sweaty hair (hot right?) and asked Jessica who he was. We flirted over social media for a little and met in person through one of our mutual friends (Garrett) at a college party and hit it off from our terrible beer pong skills. We lost contact at first, but everything changed the day of the rival lacrosse game. During the game, AJ ended up tearing his ACL and I realized how concerned I was about him. Later that night, at one of our friend’s birthday parties I was determined to get AJs number to see how he was doing. I was told he was actually in the backyard of the same party I was at. I went outside to say hi and the rest is history. We ended up unofficially dating 7 months after that night. Just one month after we were “official”, I told AJ that I loved him (and I had known it for a while). He reciprocated those feelings and told me he loved me too and from there on I knew I was going to marry him and turn my first “real” boyfriend into my husband. Where Are We Now? Currently we are living with my mom and dad in order to save up money to buy our first home, hopefully before the wedding but only time will tell. We’ve been very grateful to them for allowing us to invade their space but we are so excited to move. We have two little fur babies, our cat, Luna, and our golden, Bleu. AJ works as an Office Engineer for Hensel Phelps and is one of the hardest workers I know. I am working as an Ultrasound Tech at Swedish Medical Center and absolutely love it. We have a lot of amazing friends and family around us and can’t wait to see what our future holds.
