No & No.
Yes! Your passport, when travelling anywhere should be at least six months from expiration.
Only if they like mariachi bands and margaritas!
Yes!
Coming from Canada or anywhere in Europe, hell yes! Our dollar goes a long way down there.
Yes, it's very safe. Just don't do dumb things and you'll have a great time.
Finding your accommodation is up to you. What we can tell you is that we've rented a large house on the beach on the Northside of town; about a 10 minute into the hustle and bustle. Check out our Travel section for recommendations.
No. The closest all-inclusive resorts are in Puerto Vallarta, an hour south or Punta Mita. We don't recommend staying in Puerto Vallarta, as you'll miss out on the fun things we have planned and spend most of your time travelling. Plus, you'll miss out on the amazing independent charm of Sayulita.
There's a Walmart, Sam's Club and many other big grocery stores on the way to Sayulita. We recommend stopping at one of these places to stock your house, fridge, etc. Prices in Sayulita will be a bit more, with less variety.
Sayulita is an hour North of Puerto Vallarta on the West Coast (best coast) of Mexico. MST aka 1 hour behind Toronto.
Dumb question. Remember who's getting married.
Like most places in Mexico, I wouldn't suggest it. There's bottled water everywhere and you can purchase large jugs.
Obviously
As we're getting married on the beach, I'd suggest leaving the stilettos at home and sticking with formal beach attire. Whether it be a smart-ass tux or a sundress, it's really up to you. We're wearing white btw.
