In typical Jess fashion, when I first met Jeff, I didn't like him....at all. My biggest complaint was his consumption of Diet Dr. Pepper. Given that my mother was a nutritionist, I found this quite off-putting. Come April of 2023, I told a co-worker (and I quote) "We have a problem." The problem was that I'd realized I liked Jeff, who drove me absolutely bonkers. On May 31, 2023, we made a try at driving each other bonkers for a few months. My parents' first introduction to Jeff was via FaceTime to the unceremonious announcement of "Remember that guy I complained about who drank all the Dr. Pepper? We're dating!". A year went by, and on November 2, 2024, we agreed to drive each other bonkers for life.
