She's a gem...and a Leo....So that means she's creative, dominant, and hard to resist! Lauren and I met teaching at a school for adults with disabilities. She taught pottery(see, creative) and I taught a number of things from computers to earth science. We started eating lunch together, and she decided she liked me, so then we started hanging out outside of work, and the rest is history......eight years of history as a matter of fact. I got the honor of being her Doula during her first pregnancy and I've told her more secrets than even i can remember. She's one of the good ones and I'm sure you all will think the same!
Jose

Jose is from Puerto Rico but was living and working in Michigan when his and Charlies bromance started. Good old Sherwin Williams brought these two together, but they've remained friends long after career changes and big moves to new and different states. Jose is that friend that would drop anything to come and help if you needed it. He makes a mean drink, and has a hug that will make anyone feel safe, so make sure to give him one at the wedding, its sure to brighten your day!
Kristy

Kristy is the friend everyone needs! She's honest, diplomatic, always has your back, and will kill someone if you need her to! Kristy and I met because her daughter Hadley has a syndrome similar to Cam. She reached out to ask me about Boston, but the minute we started chatting, I knew we had to meet. Fast forward to our first meeting in Florida where Kristy lives, it took no time to realize what we had already felt from our chats, which was that we were meant for each other. We've been on girls trips and family trips, and every single one of them leaves me wanting more, and I wouldn't want to do this life without her. She is one of the pickiest eaters you will ever meet, so if you see her pushing her food away with a fork someone go grab her some chicken fingers and she will be the happiest gal on the block!
Pat

Pat and Charlie met when Charlie was that awkward age of thirteen and Pat was sixteen, so in theory at a time where Pat could have been a good influence on an impressionable young man, and while he did make an impression, the good influence part wasn't top priority, but its what bonded these two in a friendship that's lasted decades. Pat is one of those friends that does't sugar coat anything so you won't catch him telling you, you look nice if you don't!, so maybe just don't ask! He is one of the most Loyal friends, he shows up when he's needed and even when he's just asked, you know, like to drive across the country to be in a wedding for you a second time! Maybe we won't have to test out the third times a charm theory here! You'll know Pat when you see him, he will have his wife on his arm and a kids baseball t-shirt on because the kids come first and the beers come second!
Karla

Karla is spicy, just like her name sounds! But she is also sweet and loving and wonderful! Karla is the friend that you want to go on trips with, get your nails done with, eat dinner with, just do all the things with. She is your number one hype girl, but also keeps you straight! We met about five years ago through a mutual friend, and have been loving each other through it all ever since. Karla's the friend that everyone deserves but that not everyone has and I'm so lucky she's mine!

Jacob Sargeant, the man, the myth, the legend! haha. But seriously one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. Jacob is married to Karla-one of the bridesmaids, so he's a friend of both the groom and bride and met Charlie three years ago in that awkward first friend introduction phase, but it kindled a bromance and Jacob and Charlie hit it off over boring conversations on real estate and how to strike when the iron is hot..blah blah blah! Jacob is the guy next door, but not in a creepy way. He's always willing to lend a hand, help you move into your house, let you borrow his truck for big items you find online that you can't fit in your compact SUV, and he's just an all around good guy! He won't be hard to spot at the wedding, he will be one of the taller fellas at the front with a goofy grin on his face that will make you smile too! Thankful for this guy and so happy to have him celebrating with us on this day!
Cady

Cady is everyones girl, as long as you are a good person and you earn her respect, she will back you up until your dying day! Loyal to her core, I'm certain she would help me bury a body, should the situation arise! Cady is the friend that knows how to throw a party, goes out of her way to make you feel special, and reminds you how badass you are when you need it the most! We met about four years ago when she volunteered at the homeless shelter that I was the supervisor for. It wasn't long after that, that we instantly bonded and I learned that she was expecting and not long after that I became her doula! Bringing a life into the world is amazing on its own, but when you get to watch your friends do it, that's next level! Cady is the real deal where friendship counts, so make sure you get on her good side and you can probably be friends with her too!

Jim Cole, Charlies dad extroidinair. Jim is the main event if we are being honest! He's the one everyone will be focused on because he's so dang cute! Jim is Charlies dad. He's the guy you only hope to get as a parent and as an in-law. He's not a man of many words, but you will know how he feels! Jim's the dad that Charlie describes as a dreamboat. One of most kind souls with one of the best laughs, he's been the biggest supporter of Charlies 38 years even when Charlie didn't quite deserve it! He's the guy that's gonna finish every last drop of beer and the one that is gonna get mad if you waste yours! Make sure you grab a dance with him, because he's sure to make you smile!

Charlie Cole. The man of my dreams, and the thorn in my side! Charlie is the epitome of a best friend. When we met, he was the guy that made me feel like a million bucks even when I was feeling like a zero. He's from a small town in Michigan where he grew up with his brother OJ and sister Melissa. His parents Jim and Ruth raised him to be anything he wanted but that he would have to work hard to reach his goals, and it shows in his dedication and work ethic that he still possesses. He is a damn good attorney and such a hard worker! He goes the extra mile at work and at home, and he makes me proud to be his partner every day! We don't always see eye to eye, but that's usually because of my stubbornness so he's always there to remind me that we are on the same team! How lucky am I to get to marry this man in a few months. If you have the pleasure of being friends with Charlie you will know you have a friend for life, and if you don't quite know him yet, then you should bring him a beer and chat with him a bit! He's sure to be the most favorite Charlie you know! He sure is mine!

Meet the beautiful bride Jess - She's the glue that holds this whole thing together. Jess is the most kind and loving person I've met in my life. I've never met anyone who can strike up a conversation with a complete stranger and become friends with them 15 minutes later. She is always putting others first, and their needs above hers. The very first night I met Jess she told me that one of her biggest goals in life is have a big enough table in her house so that anyone who was hungry could always show up and have a seat waiting for them. She amazes me every single day and I am the luckiest man in the world to call this amazing woman my fiancé (soon to be wife)! Jess makes me a better man every single day. She challenges me to think outside of my comfort zone, and very frequently spend money outside of my comfort zone. Jess has showed me what true love actually looks and feels like. I would say come say "hi" to her, but let's be honest, she'll find you first.
