FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive to the venue at 3:30pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to dress in formal attire for the evening. For men: A suit or sport coat with dress pants is perfect. A tie or tuxedo is welcome but not required. For women: Please wear floor-length or ankle-length dresses or gowns - something elegant, timeless, and comfortable. Feel free to choose any color except white!

Question

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Answer

We’ll make a final decision on the morning of the wedding, based on the weather. If it is warm enough, the ceremony will take place outdoors in The Courtyard; otherwise, it will be held indoors in The Ballroom.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one or children to the wedding?

Answer

We are hosting an intimate, adults-only celebration, and kindly request that only those who are specifically named on the invitation attend. We’ve chosen to make this a 21+ event to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

Complimentary parking is available in the lot adjacent to The Van Dusen Mansion. Please note that overnight parking is not permitted, so we kindly ask that you plan accordingly.

Question

Is there a hotel room block?

Answer

Given most of our guests are local to the Twin Cities area, we have not reserved a hotel room block. However, we’re happy to recommend nearby accommodations if needed - just reach out!

Question

I have another question! Who can I contact?
