Jesper and Jessica first met through a streamer on Twitch! Jessica was a moderator for the streamer and started asking around the community for people to play the game "Destiny" with. Jesper happened to be one of those people! Small gaming sessions turned into full days and before they knew it, it would turn into talking morning to night. Jesper took the leap and flew to the US for the first time in November of 2021.

Jessica knew Jesper was planning to not only buy a ring on his fourth trip to the US, but was also planning to pop the question! Jessica had a hand in picking out a ring and Jesper planned to propose at the Chinese Lantern Festival. However, Jessica's anxiety took over in prepping for the big day and Jesper decided for a change of plans and proposed at the NC State Belltower.

Jesper and Jessica are indeed already married (at least legally). Jesper moved to the US on a K1 visa (more commonly known as the fiancé visa and the star of the show "90 Day Fiancé.") Within 90 days of Jesper arriving to the US, the pair had to get married. Since they wanted everyone there to celebrate with them, a quick courthouse ceremony was held on May 10th, 2024, with the plans of having a full ceremony in December.
