Alex and I met on May 17, 2022. I had just started my new job at the good ole Cracker Barrel in Murray, Kentucky. Alex had already been working there for a good bit before I came along. It was my first shift all by myself, and I was scared to death that I was going to mess up. But thankfully, my soon to be fiancé was there to make me feel confident. The same way that any gentleman would make a woman feel at ease and confident, by making fun of her name. Well I guess it worked because the shift was smooth sailing after that. Not many shifts later, Alex decided that before clocking out one day, that he was going to give me his number. After having the number for a week, I texted him and we scheduled our first date! Our first date was at a local Mexican restaurant and bowling alley in Murray! We spent just about everyday together from then on! Either working, studying, or hitting the gym. Everywhere he was, I was there too! So I guess you could say that ever since then, we have been attached at the hip! Well besides his 11 month deployment, which I was told was only going to be 9... But anyway, that's our story! Short and sweet!
