We’re getting married!

Jesey and Rylee were just two freshmen in high school. Somehow in the process of making student schedules, they were put in the same algebra class that year. Rylee made sure she was one of the first to find a seat in class that day and sit beside one of her best friends to observe who they would be with all year. Then walked in Jesey. The first thing Rylee says to her best friend is “Oooo he’s cute!” Her best friend replied “eh”. Rylee then sought after Jesey and was determined to sneak her way into his life. Luckily she knew who his close friend was and asked him to talk to Jesey. One thing lead to another and Jesey finally let her in. Soon after she asked his friend to “ask him if he likes me!!”. Rylee then waited for a reply with the answer to her very important question and she finally got it…..sort of. She got the response no girl wants to hear from her major crush…. “I do like her but don’t want to chance ruining our friendship”. Rylee didn’t read anything past “I do like her” and ran with it. A month filled with late night FaceTime calls, texts, and phone calls goes by. Jesey is nervous about where this was going and felt like there was something more to this girl. Rylee then found out from his close friend that he was going to pop a pretty important question one night and Rylee responded with one major request….. “TELL JESEY IT HAS TO BE MAY 7TH!”. Why May 7th? You might ask… well honestly it’s just Rylee’s luckiest number ever. May 7th came around and Jesey is nervous. Rylee is riddled with excitement (her biggest crush is really about to ask her out!!!). They FaceTimed early that night and were up for hours!!! Rylee wasn’t ending that call without the question being asked….. and Jesey was dragging it out as long as he could. Rylee noticed it was almost midnight and he hadn’t asked her (she could tell he was nervous). Finally, Rylee couldn’t wait any longer as May 7th was about to pass and she knew she couldn’t wait another month for the 7th to role around. She couldn’t hold it in any longer and said “Would you quit being a chicken shit and ask me already?!?”. Jesey said very softly “Will you be my girlfriend?”. Rylee obviously said yes before he could finish his question and they both were stunned at the fact they were officially a couple. They started their relationship on pure feelings and followed their hearts. They didn’t know what God had in store for them and their future but they knew it felt right being together. That was just the beginning….

Jesey and Rylee planned to have their photos taken for their 6 year anniversary of being a couple. While they were taking photos, friends and family eagerly waited for Jesey to drop down on one knee behind some trees. As the photos were being taken their photographer (Shelby) was playing her music through a speaker to encourage good vibes throughout the session. So Rylee had thought…. Later on in the playlist a song comes on that always reminds Jesey of Rylee. The song is by Juicewrld called “Hide”. When the song came on Jesey asked the photographer if she could capture them dancing to the song. While Rylee was dancing she starts to notice that the dancing was not just for photos. She then asked “Are we done? We are supposed to be taking photos.” Following that rather rushing question, Jesey had one thing to do. (This next part is rated R so please be cautious reading) Jesey reached into the front side of his pants where the sun don’t shine and pulls out a velvet blue box. Meanwhile, Rylee yelled “WHAT THE F*** ARE YOU DOING?!”. Jesey got down on one knee and opened the box with tears in his eyes. He then asked the question “Will you marry me?” Rylee stood there with her hands over her face in such shock. After she realized she hadn’t answered and Jesey was still waiting on one knee, SHE SAID “YES!”. Jesey got up and put the ring on her finger while the photographer captured the magical moment. Immediately after Jesey turns Rylee around and pointed to the trees. A herd of friends and family were sprinting through the tall grass to come congratulate the newly engaged couple. After, they had all gone to Angelina’s in The Colony to celebrate. After everyone finished eating, Dean (Jeseys friend) started a speech train. Many friends and family shared stories about the couple and what they have witnessed over the years. In the end, the night was beautiful and the couple was so excited to be officially engaged!
