Jesse and I first met when we were 15 years old. We were friends, growing up in the same season of life, but as time went on, we both found ourselves living for the world. We walked separate paths filled with choices we’re not proud of: smoking, drinking, fornication, and chasing things that could never truly satisfy. During that time, we were no longer part of each other’s lives, lost in our own way. Yet even then, Jesus was pursuing us. Separately; without one another and without knowing what God was doing on the other side, we each had a powerful encounter with Christ. God met us right where we were and completely changed the direction of our lives. Around the same time, we were saved, surrendered our lives to Jesus, and began walking away from the world we once knew. In His perfect timing, God reconnected us. What began again as a reconnection became something entirely new. This time, it wasn’t rooted in flesh or emotion alone, but in faith. As we grew closer to Christ, we grew closer to one another, and our friendship blossomed into love. After a year of dating, we felt the Lord calling us to a bold act of obedience... to separate once more, not out of brokenness, but out of reverence. We chose to pursue Christ individually, to give Him our whole hearts, honor Him fully, and discover who we were in Him alone. 3 years passed. In between those years, God was growing us in every area of our lives: deepening our faith, shaping our character, and preparing our hearts. There were no expectations, no promises, and no signs that our story would ever continue. But God was working in the waiting, and preparing us for something greater than we could imagine and teaching us what true surrender looks like. Then, in July of 2025, God did the impossible. In a way only He could orchestrate, He brought us back together. Restored, transformed, and anchored in Him. What was once surrendered at His feet was returned, more beautiful than before. This time, we came together not as two broken people chasing the world, but as two whole people chasing Christ. Our story is proof of God’s love, and redemption. It is a testimony that God’s timing is always perfect. When God writes your love story; it’s not just about romance, it’s about obedience, and purpose. And this is only the beginning. We can't wait to see you to share more.
