How do I RSVP for the wedding?

Answer

Please complete the "Destination Wedding Rates" form and work with the planner to make a deposit, using this link: https://www.vacationsbyvip.com/client-pages/philip-wilson/ -or- Call 610-865-1055 (option #4 to Book into a Group) and speak with one of the Group Reservations agents. By making your payment, we will acknowledge this as a YES to the wedding. If you are unable to make it, please reach out to us or our families to let us know!

When do I need to reserve a room by?

Answer

Our room blocks will be dropped periodically, and the first drop date is December 18th. If additional rooms are needed, we will add as needed. It is important to remember, we are only able to block a limited amount of rooms per each block. We have secured discounted rates, but if the rooms fill up, the only option is for guests to move up to the next available block, which may be an additional cost. If you are unsure of your plans, but want to reserve a specific type of room, you may put down the deposit for the room before the December due date, and adjust as your plans change.

What is the payment breakdown?

Payments are broken up as follows: 1st Due Date: Before December 18th- Deposit of 30% of room costs are due at time of booking 2nd Due Date: Before February 21st - Deposit of 80% of remaining room costs 3rd Due Date: Before March 21st - Full room balance due

Is transportation provided to and from the airport?

Answer

Yes! Please coordinate with the planner and make sure their team has your flight information, so they can secure round trip transportation to and from the airport.

What documentation do I need to acquire before traveling?

Answer

When traveling to the Dominican Republic with a U.S. or Canadian Passport, a Tourist Visa is not required. Please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after your trip. Your passport should not expire before January 2023.

What is a Mylangi Ideel?

Answer

This is a traditional Knanaya Christian custom done before the Wedding ceremony. The Mylangi Ideel is a ceremony to beautify the bride, in which the bride's paternal aunts apply henna on her palms and feet. Afterwards, the Madhuram Nullal is a sweet giving ceremony to wish the bride best wishes for her future.

Will there be activities for guests to enjoy at the resort?

Answer

Absolutely! There are several free activities on site, and several excursions you can book for around the area. Most can be found on the resort's website listed below, or feel free to ask our planner for more information!
