WE STILL DO!

"God, family, and the Green Bay Packers, in that order" ~ Vince Lombardi It was the exact opposite order that led to our relationship . Our love of the Green Bay Packers led us to become a family because God gave us to each other. We somehow waded through the madness of online dating to find each other at the exact moment we needed to. After talking for 5 straight days and one meteor shower-filled night, we finally met in person and had a date for the ages!! It was love at first sight and at least one marriage proposal during dinner!

The Green Bay Packers might have begun this momentous romance, but it was another sports team that solidified potential longevity of it. The Los Angeles Dodgers had been a huge part of Mr. Mitchell's entire life, and he could think of no other way to propose to his best girl than at Chavez Ravine. So, without her knowledge, he got tickets in the shade, invited a few friends to witness the event, and while she was away from her seat orchestrated the entire section to cheer when the moment came. She came back to her seat and then recieved a text from her sexy boyfriend stating: "Remember that time I proposed to you at Dodger Stadium?" At that moment he pulled out the ring and asked for her beautiful hand on marriage! At that moment the entire section around them went wild with applause and then...SHE SAID YES!!! Totally forgetting about the ring he was holding he jumped up and started cheering as well, high fives and fist bumps and chest thumps and...then he remembered his new fiance didnt yet have the ring on her finger. He quickly ran back and put it where it belonged and continued to celebrate the rest of the night with his sweetheart and their great friends!!!

And then there was the wedding!! Officiated by none other than Elvis Presley himself (or someone that looked just like him) sang us up and down the aisle in Viva Las Vegas at the famous Little White Wedding Chapel!! That weekend was full of fun, blackjack, pawn shops, good friends, exquisite and also less than exquisite (but still quite tasty) foodstuffs, zip lines, and LOVE! Through it all we came out the other side as Mr & Mrs Mitchell and haven't looked back!

And after 5 years of experiencing all (good AND bad) that marriage has to offer, we decided to have us a proper church wedding before God, our closest friends and family to witness and celebrate the best half decade of our lives. We are extremely excited to be sharing it with YOU!!!
