We eloped! As of December 7, 2021. We officially became ONE.

It was a pretty slow night. I was laying in one of the sections at the bar that I worked at as a bartender reading “The Goddess Blackwoman”, it was a great read, btw! This was my normal routine after I got my bar set up, I would rest and read before the action. Not long after I got comfortable I heard “Jerrica! You got somebody.” so I eased my way to the bar while in the back of my mind saying “who is here so early and why!? 😂😂 Anywho, I had the pleasure of servicing this handsome young fella who happened to be in the area just wanting to check out this club he had never been to before. He tipped very well which was a definite green flag & kept me entertained throughout the night as he sipped on what seemed to be endless amounts of Crown & Red Bull. Who knew that this would be the start to the end of my young, wild & free days. After much persistence, some problems & a beautiful procreation (Ace Marven Scott) we got engaged on October 26th, 2021 outside of Yummy’s in Florence, AL after having an intimate family dinner for Troy’s birthday. Things moved rather swift for us which was likely a major shock to most and myself even. Each moment we have had the pleasure of spending together has been nothing shy of amazing. Troy has helped me grow in many ways and exposed to me to many new things. Being from 2 completely different cultures (he is Jamaican) has been the most fun adjustment thus far. I am looking foward to experiencing more life, together.
