Jerrell lived just around the corner from Jasmine's childhood home for years. They graduated from the same high school just a few years apart. Jerrell and Jasmine became Facebook friends in September 2011 but never spoke a word to each other until May 13, 2018, when Jasmine saw Jerrell's Facebook post on her News Feed and decided to send him a message that started it all.

On May 13th, 2018, when I answered Jasmine's Facebook message, it was the best decision of my life. From the time we started talking, I couldn't wait to hear from her because she made my days better. May 17th, 2018 was out 1st date. When Jasmine walked out of her apartment and came down to my truck, it was like a scene out of the movie, it was love at first sight, and I knew I was going to marry her. After our 1st date, we became inseparable. I wanted to give her the world, be the reason she laughed and smiled but, most of all I had the desire to blend our family as a whole. This year has been amazing. I can't wait to grow and spend the rest of my life with Jasmine

I had just turned 27, and life was going well for me, but something was still missing. I was still praying for a God-fearing, loyal and loving man to share life's challenges and accomplishments with for the rest of my life. On May 13th, 2018, I was strolling through Facebook and I saw a picture of Jerrell with his youngest brother Jerrmal and cousin Derrick. I knew his brothers from our high school but I didn't know Jerrell. In that moment I had to work up the nerve to send Jerrell a message because I wanted nothing else in the world but to make Jerrell my man. Jerrell has been everything I've prayed for and more. I am extremely blessed to be married to a man like him. We are a year down, and forever to go.
