When and Where?

Answer

The ceremony and the reception will take place at the Rutherford, located at 520 Rutherford Rd, Greenville, SC 29609. Please allow for time to park and be in your seats no later than 3:45pm. The ceremony begins at 4:00pm with a social hour and reception immediately to follow. Once the ceremony starts, you will not be allowed to enter. Thank you for planning accordingly ❤️

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please confirm your attendance by Sunday, September 1st. All invited parties will be listed on the invite. In an effort to be inclusive and create a seamless flow, there will be a seating chart at the reception. Table assignments will be based off of invited guests and RSVP responses. If you do not RSVP, we cannot guarantee seating. Let’s not make it awkward. Defy the stereotype. RSVP and reserve your seat. Thank you!

I received a Save the Date, can I RSVP or decline early?

Answer

Yes, please feel free to confirm or decline your attendance as soon as possible. This will allow us to finalize guest list more efficiently. We will send an invitation to all confirmed guests. If you decline before formal invitations are sent, we will not send out an invitation. Thank you!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Suggested Attire is Semi-Formal! We would love to see our friends and family get fancy with us. If you have a long dress or tux you've been dying to wear, please do! Think fall floor length, tea length, or midi length for dresses, jumpsuits, or sets. Suit jacket or sports coat with slacks or khakis are a perfect pair.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed, but we understand that obligations, commitments and all things life make it difficult for everyone to attend. If you cannot make our wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly. If you RSVP “yes” and later have a change of plans, please notify us as soon as possible to ensure accurate headcount and planning.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

All invited parties will be listed on the invitation. Unless your invitation specifies "and guest,” please do not bring any additional individuals. You must RSVP by Sunday, September 1st to ensure seating accommodations.

Can I bring my child(ren) to the wedding?

Answer

To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation, we are limiting the number of children to immediate family and those in the wedding party. Unless your children are included on the invitation, we respectfully ask that you make alternative arrangements for your children that evening. Thank you for your cooperation!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. (No Phones or Cameras). We'd appreciate your attention as we say our "I do's". We've hired professionals to capture this special moment for us. So please allow them to do their best work. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes, reservations at a discounted rate can be made at Homewood Suites in Downtown Greenville using 91R Gilbert-Bryant Wedding. This hotel is minutes away from our wedding venue and within walking distance of the best of Greenville. Please see the Hotel Block section for more information regarding reservations and the booking process. Reservations at the discounted rate must be booked before Friday, September 20, 2024. Rooms will go fast. Book early! There are a plethora of hotels in the Greenville area. Please choose what works for your needs and budget. If you need additional recommendations let us know!
