Kz and Payton met each other freshmen year of high school in Spanish class (etc.)although they did not become closer friends until junior year, their friendship was solidified after numerous "sleepovers". In high school they enjoyed their fair share of Sonic and Walmart runs in Waynesville. After graduating high school they still kept their friendship strong by making yearly trips to each other and looking forward to summers during undergrad where they would venture on post for the pool and Davidson. On top of that Payton has been to Ohio 6 times now to see KZ. From running up and down the halls in high school trying to prevent being tardy-swept because they would chat too long to running away from RAs at Ohio State. Kz and Payton's friendship have been filled with only wild fun memories, Payton knows that no matter what she is going through she can always reach out to KZ for anything because she knows she will have her back no matter the time or day it is.
Shane Cantrell

Shane and Jerod met in band class at the beginning of 6th grade. Throughout their 11 years of friendship, Shane successfully brought Jerod out of his shell as they grew into a dynamic duo. Shane was good at science, Jerod was good at math and together they helped each other pass numerous classes. Shane was always there for Jerod when he needed a good laugh, life advice, or an ear to listen. Whether it was sitting through our least favorite class together or staying up until 4 am playing zombies at a band trip, Shane and Jerod always found a way to have a good time. When Kate and Payton first met someone asked if we were related and since then they have referred to each other as “cuzzos” it was really when they had physics together they became best friends. Going through the pandemic together and navigating physics exams I don’t know if Payton would have passed physics without Kates help. Kate stayed with Payton for a short period in Springfield and the best memories were sharing chicken toqutios together and late night talking sessions. Kate is such a beautiful and kind friend who has always been there for Payton through thick and thin and vice versa. Payton is so grateful to have Kate in her bridal party as she is such an important part and such a light in Paytons life.
Macy Lumley

Macy and Payton met in undergrad, Macy and Payton were the type of friends to always pull each other out to go to college bars. Every time Macy and Payton went out it was a common theme something would go down whether it be getting VIP bottle service, private booths at the clubs, with all the free drinks. From Running around Springfield in 20 degree weather, and always going out to dinner, watching tv shows late at night, all the getting ready at Paytons apartment. If one thing about them they are gonna go out to eat, whether Mexican, pizza, sushi. Macy and Payton try to make trips to see each other and Macy even flew all the way to wilmington to visit Payton at her new home. Macy is such a unique friend to Payton they have seen each other’s hits and lows that have built such a beautiful life long friendship.
Jordan Barras

Jordan and Payton were assigned to the same clinical site in the first semester of their program. They bonded off the daily 45-minute "debrief" sessions to South Brunswick every day. From screaming for the Cougars on the sideline, the Jimmy Slushees, beach sunrises (even the bad foggy ones), securing seats at trivia Tuesday, having our own personal concert in the car, and selling plasma together to make ends meet. no matter what Jordan and Payton are doing they always find a way to have fun and make the best out of it. Jordan is the one friend Payton can call and knows she will pick up, for example when Payton sprained her ankles going down the stairs Jordan was the first one to run over and help Payton from clinical. Jordan is the type of friend Payton can text to ask to go do something and Jordan is already on the way to get her.
Reyna Watterson

YOOGLAY! Reyna and Payton have been rockin' since 7th grade, from playing basketball in 8th grade and Volleyball in high school together it was all the El Jimador dates, late-night sleepovers, yearbook class, and the sugar cookie runs that brought them closer together. In high school, there were numerous times they'd be rushing home for curfew because they would get sidetracked at Sonic. Reyna and Payton would always get together during summer breaks throughout college and even with their long-distance friendship they would still make time to see each other yearly with trips to each other! P.S If you need someone to take a shot of tequila with Reyna is the person to ask! me gusta papa fritas <3
Katie Crews

Katie and Payton met when Payton moved to Wilmington, they both sat in back of the class. Payton and Katie bonded over mimosa flights when getting breakfast. From there they would always meet and study together for their evaluations classes! On many weekends going out they would go on side quests together and the search for pizza and a late-night snack. One thing about Katie and Payton is that they go to snack, every day between classes they indulge in "snack time" and exchange their favorite snacks. Katie is the type of friend to bring out the goofy fun side in Payton it's always happiness and laughs when they hang out!
Conner Nall

Conner and Jerod were in marching band together for three years but it wasn't until halfway through high school that they realized how much they had in common. It began with hanging out in the morning before school started and eating lunch together and turned into playing video games all night, Christmas parties, and late-night trips to Waffle House. Conner and Jerod share a common love for football, a variety of video games, and Yung Gravy. Conner finds a way to turn everything into a joke and put a smile on your face. Even though he has the worst luck in the world, Conner is always there for his friends.
Manuel (Joe) Aragon

Joe and Jerod met at Payton's college graduation but they didn't get to fully connect until Christmas later that year. Joe and Jerod sat down, cracked open somewhere between 20 and 30 beers (we lost count), and talked until 6 am. The duo had some rage-inducing but great times on Warzone claiming that we would catch a dub eventually. From there a brotherly bond formed with a common interest of the love we have for Payton. If there is one thing about Joe that stands out from anything else, it is his care and protection of his little sister. Joe is a great bro, but a better brother.
Ricky Harrel

Ricky and Jerod met before Jerod could even remember. Ricky and Jerod's sister Ashley were high school sweethearts so clearly Jerod had to make sure he was right for the job. Between Ricky picking up Jerod from school, spending the weekend at Ricky's, or playing Call of Duty on the PS3, the two became close. Ricky knows all the buttons to push to make someone mad but deep deep deep down he has one of the biggest hearts. The thing that Jerod respects the most about Ricky is his ability to provide and take care of his family and the people he cares about. I can't think of anyone else that I would want to take care of my sister and her crazy kids.
John Underdown

John and Jerod met at Carver Middle School where they were held together by linked friend groups. Over the years the two got closer together and began a deeper friendship. Whether they were blowing up watermelons with fireworks on the fourth of July or driving to Branson just to get too many doughnuts, John and Jerod always have a good time. John is a good man with a big heart and is loyal in every fiber of his being. John would help Jerod bury a body if he asked. Wednesdays will always be there ;)

Hunter and Jerod bonded in their Marketing class where they created the best energy drink known to man. From there a strong friendship formed as they spent most nights gaming. Jerod helped Hunter slowly improve his trash talk while Hunter carried me to numerous wins. Hunter's loyalty and ability to ignore the haters drew Jerod closer to him. Between numerous glitches and fails on GTA V or the domination of COD lobbies, Hunter and Jerod will always have a good time. BBG. If you know you know.
