A Celebration of Our Love

After many years of dating all the wrong people, in 2022 both Kenneth and Jermaine found themselves on the Tindr app, occasionally swiping right, but mostly swiping left! One night in January of 2022, they both swiped right on each other and that's where the story really began. After weeks of chatting via Tindr, Kenneth proposed meeting up, and Jermaine agreed! Kenneth suggested meeting at Zannies Comedy Club in Nashville, TN as it would provide a fun environment for a first date. The date and time were set and Zannies it was. Upon arriving at Zannies, the pair briefly eyed each other, sizing up, as the gays love to do. I guess they both past the physical test because they sure went inside. As the show got underway and the building was filled with laughter, the atmosphere became a safe space for conversation. As Kenneth and Jermaine began engaging in conversation, they were approached by a waiter who asked if they would like to place a drink order. Kenneth specifically asked for nothing but water, but Jermaine, being very cheeky, looked at the menu, looked up at Kenneth, looked at the waiter and said, "Can you bring me a "cheap date" please. Kenneth, Jermaine and the surrounding tables all erupted in laughter as the waiter appeared to be rather clueless! The night proved to be the perfect first date.
