We matched on Hinge (a dating app). Matt saw Jerin's profile, thought she was stunningly beautiful! Jerin saw Matt's "like," thought he was a grade-A guy. We both noticed we were 90+ miles away from each other. Matt was in Boston. Jerin was in the middle of Connecticut. We messaged, and then FaceTimed the next day to make sure Matt was not a serial killer. On our first FaceTime date, Matt ended it early because Charlie (his brother's dog) got loose and left mud tracks throughout the house. But Jerin took it in stride, and we continued to talk because we really connected! Though we were far apart.. no big deal, "We'll meet in Providence," Matt said. "That's halfway!" Matt said. It was NOT a halfway point. (Jerin thought.) Jerin drove 65 miles, 1.5 hours Matt drove 50 miles, 1.5 hours (because of traffic). So it was halfway. We then proceeded to visit each other across state lines every weekend for almost two years. We finally moved in together in New Haven, and the rest is history! Now we've been building a life together with our pup, Nellie, in Providence, RI ♡ We are so excited to celebrate our love with you!!!!
