We Met on a crazy app called TikTok . Two people exploring an app for fun turned into two hearts finding their home. When we first met Jeried likes to say " I knew you were meant for me." After a few weeks of just watching him on camera I joined his live room. We instantly shared laughs and a spark was lit and a friendship grew! After a month of stickily seeing each other on that platform we exchanged numbers. Phone calls grew longer , feelings became stronger and after three months we realized we had to meet. So with a deep breath I made the long 19 hour drive to New Mexico. Jeried patiently talked me through each city and calmly got me back on track when I missed my turn. Finally arriving in person my legs went weak and He hugged me close. In that moment I knew I had come home. We spent three days together talking and exploring realizing that we had fallen in love and had found our missing pieces. I always say it was the moment we were watching the sunset together on top of the Queens mountains that I knew i had fallen deeply in Love with Jeried. What can we say when you know you know. I made the long drive back to Illinois and within a few short weeks packed my car up and moved to officially make New Mexico my Home. Within 5 months we bought our first home together. One year and 8 months later under the starry sky in Santa Fe, Jeried asked me to be his wife. As we embraced lighting rippled in the sky above the mountains in the distance as if the Universe was rejoicing. As a couple we love adventures in nature, playing guitar together, and being home bodies. A lifetime is not near enough time for the love we share but till death does us part we shall be!
