They met. They dated. They finally got engaged. Blah blah blah... THEY MET. January 6, 2017 Femi & Jerica locked eyes on Femi’s last day in Goshen before he left for his 2nd season in Boston. Neither of them desired a long distance relationship, but they found each other so intriguing they just couldn’t stop talking. It’s been long-distance ever since! THEY DATED. April 14, 2017 During their first date in Chicago, Femi fell for her genuine, kind heart and Jerica fell for his thoughtful care and child-like spirit. Dating consisted of meeting up in random cities, soaking up all there was to offer with limited amounts of time. After starting to talk about individual dreams and desires God put on each of their hearts, things changed from just light-hearted to something more real. Those moments made them realize their paths crossed for a divine reason, and knew they wanted to do life together. Forever. THEY FINALLY GOT ENGAGED. June 30, 2019 After 2 1/2 years of knowing each other, Femi flew home mid-season. During his few days back, he surprised Jerica with an outfit to wear for date night. How fun! He went ALL out with a boat ride at sunset, candles on the dock, and fireworks, to set the scene for proposing! She said yes (duh!), and he had invited friends to celebrate after! Almost exactly three years after meeting, THEY'LL GET MARRIED! They can't wait for you to celebrate with them as their two lives become one!
