The Hanford Garden is outdoors only, so please prepare for the appropriate weather. Wildlife and insects are a natural part of a garden environment and should be expected.

Accessibility

Answer

The venue is located on a hill, so be prepared to climb some stairs or go up paved ramps. This is also why we recommend getting there with plenty of time.

Parking

Answer

On-site parking is limited to approximately 40 spaces. Parking is also allowed along Hanford Street in front of the property (but don't block any homes or in any posted "no parking" areas). Due to the limited parking it is advised that guests carpool, or walk if they're staying at hotels within walking distance. Always use proper side walks, cross walks and use safety precautions when walking along the road.

Sutter Creek is a small town so ride shares may not be readily available. Please plan accordingly.

Children

Answer

Children are welcome, but the venue stresses that all children MUST be supervised and be in attendance of a responsible adult at all times. For their safety, children are not allowed on the hillsides, rocks, behind the stage, in planterbeds or in the pond. Poisonous snakes and other animals have been spotted on the property, so it is very important that children are monitored to avoid a life threatening encounter.
