Maid of Honor
We started yapping at work and we just never stopped! Our friendship developed after staying at the club till 4am waiting to see RKM and Ken-Y, LOL. Josseline loves to chef it up and makes the best birria tacos. She is a big music lover and always has the great playlists. She brought me into the world of make up, purses, nails, and all things girly. I brought her into the running the world. Sharing so many interests, it’s no surprise how close we got in so little time. We have shared so much throughout the past few years: vacations, late nights, laughs, hikes, I can go on. I’m so excited she’s my MOH! I know I can count on her and I’m so happy/excited/grateful she will be right there next to me!

Picture this: It’s 2008, two boys meet in the lunch room of high school, one still gelling his hair, the other with a ponytail. One was on the track team, the other, baseball. The odds were stacked against them. However as you can see by the bride and groom, true love does persist, and these crazy kids are still best of friends 17 years later. They got wings together, beer together, people watched together, get confused as brothers/cousins together, and even lived together. This was something that no amount of distance, states or islands, could or ever would change.

Met in 8th grade and stayed close since! So many memories made throughout the years. Being there for her first drink (hehe), running races, laughs, Super Bowl half time shows, diner catch ups, beach days (and nights - like going after 9pm for her to play her new ukelele lol), and many late bar nights. Alyssa is not only the life of the party, but she can tell a great story! Im so happy/excited she will be right up there with me!
Groomsman
The homie. Two dudes who liked running and worked at a running store that said “we should start a running group.” A tale as old as time. The lostest of boys, we too lived together many moons ago. Someone that was not only always down for the miles, but for the vibes too, no matter where they were. Whether it be Central Park, Prospect Park, the West Side Highway, or that one time we totally didn’t sneak onto Old Hayward field one morning on a road trip through Eugene to run some laps. Might be nuevo idioma, but it’s always the same love. Stay Lost 🤙

Our moms brought us to work one day and now look at us! So many memories of us zooming down in our razor scooters. We became inseparable: lots of laughing sessions, running around the playground, making funny home videos, and beach days. Kimberly is always down for whatever, is the sweetest and so thoughtful. Despite not seeing each other all the time, we have stayed close all these years and I’m so excited she’s part of this big day!

It’s 2011, you’re getting dropped off at SUNY New Paltz for the first time. You’re meeting your roommate who you’ve never met before, but your father says “yea, you two are gonna get along just fine” after just a couple of minutes of talking. Ben “old man” Albers (he’s only a year older) and I would then be roommates for the next 3 years, and college teammates for all 4. Just two nerds who loved running, John Mayer, HIMYM, and had countless memories (entire bedroom getting literally flipped upside down, the French, The Tire, Animal Cruelty PSA and much more). While Ben is the reason my love for Narragansett (thank you) began, he is also one of the first people I told when talking about Wendy that “this is different” than past relationships. Granted, that was only like 2-3 months after we started dating, so luckily it worked out.

We got dropped during my first college cross country workout and just stuck together since! We were called gossips but honestly, we just always yapped about our own problems LOL. College would not have been the same if she wasn’t there. We spent many nights out late, having to get up super early for long runs, still not completely well, but the memories made up for it. Monica is hilarious, a hiker girly, and goes with the flow. So thankful she is apart of this special day!

Dawgs. Before we also met at a running store, we met in Staten Island one Summer on, you guessed it, a run. No idea who the hell this guy was, and no intention of ever seeing him again. Well jokes on me. Dawgs, always the happy go lucky spirit who could talk to anyone (similarly to a golden retriever), he’s the only person I’ve ever met that tells stories in increments of how many miles it’ll take to tell rather than time, and somehow always be accurate. Also a roommate (there’s a pattern here), he shares in the love of good miles and good convos (and a good Gansette- thank you again, Ben).

She seemed so sweet and everyone gravitated towards her so obviously had to get to know her! Huma is always down for anything and I know she will very rarely to never turn down a hangout. She attracts everyone around her, I’d easy to talk to, genuine, and truly the best. Throughout the years, I am so grateful to have gotten to know her and consider her one of my favorite people. It’s not a function if Huma isn’t there. So happy she is apart of this special day!

Breaking the pattern here, Jake is the only person here out of this ragtag bunch I have not lived with (unless you count numerous hotel room stays, then okay sure, ya got me). Very quickly we hit it off, almost to a scary amount that left me thinking “is this getting too serious too fast? I mean, he’s my co-worker.” What started as just two tech-reps in the big running world, blossomed into a random out of nowhere friendship between two dudes with pretty sweet mustaches.
