What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Both the ceremony and the reception will be at the same location.

The ceremony and reception will be indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
The bridal party will take pictures nearby. Guests will enjoy music, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.

What should I do if I can’t make it?
Answer
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Answer
Please park in the parking garage of the Gastonia Conference Center, and yes parking is free.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes, feel free to bring your children, but please be sure to add everyone to the RSVP so that we can account for seating and meals. Please limit children to your own children if possible.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Due to a spacing limit of 150 guests, we are limiting plus one's to married couples and couples in a serious relationship. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please ensure that you include plus one's that fit these characteristics in your RSVP total.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Answer
Yes, we have hotels blocked for guest please see the "Travel" section of this website and click on the link provided.
Question
When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
Answer
The RSVP deadline is August 29th, but if you are sure that you will not be able to attend please, as a courtesy let us know as soon as possible.

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?
Answer
There will be party favors on the table, but please do not take home any centerpieces, candles or floral arrangements.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Answer
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ramsey2020vision so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
