About the Venue
The Mountain House at Onteora was built in 1928 as the summer estate of mayonnaise millionaire Richard Hellmann on the side of Mount Tycetonik, in the middle of the Catskill Mountain Preserve just 8 miles from the famous artist colony and music mecca of Woodstock. The site has a 220º panoramic view of the mountains and is surrounded by 200 acres of forests. Onteora conveniently located in the scenic Hudson Valley, about a 2-hour drive from New York City.
