Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know as soon as you know! This will greatly help us with the planning process. Please RSVP directly on this website. As our venue is "bare bones" we need to plan well in advance to bring in all rentals ourselves, so we ask that you kindly RSVP as soon as possible with the latest date by June 1st 2025.

What time should we arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 3:30 pm. For those driving, please arrive for 3 pm. For guests taking the shuttle, arrival time will vary (the first shuttle will be closer to 2 pm) . We will send out more details on the shuttle and exact pick up times closer to the event.

Dinner details?

Answer

We will be hosting a buffet dinner reception from 6pm-8pm. There will also be light appetizers passed around during cocktail hour. Please let us know of any allergies/restrictions in your RSVP.

What is the bar situation?

Hotel recommendations?

Yes! Please see the "Travel & Accommodations" tab for more details. To note, Pemberton is a small town, with less options for lodging than a typical city. We encourage everyone to book their lodging well in advance.

Is there a shuttle?

Answer

Yes, we will have a shuttle between the venue and Pemberton. Please see the shuttle page above for more details.

Parking at the Venue?

Answer

There is limited parking available at the venue. Please let us know your preferences in your RSVP. Based on how many guests are interested in parking at the venue, we may have to kindly request some leave their car in Pemberton, and catch the shuttle.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We can't wait to celebrate our special day with our closest friends and family. To keep the day as intimate as possible, unfortunately we do not have space for all our guests to bring a plus one. We kindly request only those listed on the invitation to join us.

Are kids welcome?

We will be hosting an adults only wedding day. As much as we love your little ones, we truly want each of you to be in the moment, enjoy a parents evening out, and let loose a little bit. Plus, our venue is not the safest for little wanderers who aren't watched at all times, as it is quite large and has two bodies of water.

Do you have a registry?

Your presence is gift enough! If you are feeling like you would still like to honour us with a gift, any contribution to our new home or honeymoon fund would be greatly appreciated.

What is the venue like?

Answer

Green Water Resort is an outdoor venue located in Pemberton Meadows. It is flanked by the Lillooet River and looks out over the meadows and mountains. Pemberton can get quite warm in the summer months, and the venue is fully outdoors. Although there will be areas of shade and a large tented area, please stay hydrated and wear your sunscreen. High heels are not advised as the majority of the venue is grass (and even a sandy beach!).
