Travel Options

We’ve outlined a few travel options to make your journey to our Disney Cruise wedding as smooth as possible. Disney resorts offer great accommodations and include transportation to the port. For guests who prefer staying closer to Port Canaveral, consider the Radisson Resort or Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront. As for transportation, you can book Disney’s shuttle service ($45 per person) or choose from options like private car services or shared shuttles.

For Those Flying: Orlando International Airport

Orlando International Airport (MCO) is the closest major airport for Disney cruises departing from Port Canaveral, located about 45–60 minutes away. It’s the best airport to fly into for a smooth travel experience, especially if you’re using Disney Cruise Line transportation ($45 per person, one way) or other shuttle services to the port.

In addition to Disney transportation, there are several other convenient options to get to and from Port Canaveral. Private car services like Mears (866-435-5686), and Happy Limo offer a more personalized experience, with prices ranging from $150–$250 one way depending on the vehicle. Shared shuttle services such as Go Port, Cortrans, or Cocoa Beach Shuttle provide more budget-friendly options at around $30–$40 per person. For flexibility, ride-sharing services like Uber or Lyft are also available, with costs typically ranging from $80–$120 each way. Taxis are another reliable option (407-422-2222), though they may be on the pricier side. Whatever option you choose, make sure to plan for a smooth and stress-free journey to your Disney Cruise!
