Lakes

Eagle River is full of lakes and, weather permitting, you should take advantage of that! It's the reason why we love it so much. If you are staying at the Wild Eagle Lodge or The Everett, you can rent boats directly through them. They have a variety of options from kayaks to pontoons (and maybe jet skis if you're lucky). If you are unable to book through one of these hotels, we recommend renting through Boat Sport Marina.

Foods

Below are a few restaurants/bars we recommend for meals/drinks outside of our scheduled events. Breakfast: -Toad in the Hole: Get here early or prepare to wait - it gets busy -Wolf Pack Cafe: ~20 minutes from Eagle River. Great pancakes. Lunch and Day Drinks: -Braywood: across Catfish lake from Indian Point Manor and The Everett, you can access this restaurant by docking your boat at the pier or by car. Casual food and drinks. -The Kickback Grill: across the lake from the Wild Eagle Lodge, you can access this restaurant by docking your boat at the pier or by car. Casual food and drinks. -Pitliks: Go here for the most extra bloody Mary you've ever seen. -The Marina Bar: at The Everett. No food but great drinks. You can dock your boat here. Dinner: -The White Stag: Eagle River's most iconic supper club and institution. Great steaks, chicken (get it Dave's way), shrimp, etc. -Chef Rene's: Great food, amazing taxidermy. Our personal favorite.
