Our first date was at what is now our favorite Sushi spot. We had a couple virtual dates before that, COVID and all, but this gave us an opportunity to see if the spark was REALLY there in person. As soon as we sat down and got to talking, it was like fireworks. We had so much in common, and were both really starting to enjoy each other's quirkiness in the wild. About half way into our meal, a random lady who had just finished her meal walked up to us and said: "I'm so sorry to bother you two, but I wanted to ask how long you've been together?" We both looked at each other and laughed and said: "Actually, this is our first date." She exclaimed and said: "Oh my gosh! You two give me hope that there is true love out there." We were both taken aback at her response, and knew right away that we had truly found something special.
