Maid of Honor
Abby is one of Megann's oldest friends. They played flute in 6th grade band where they met, and stuck with band all through 12th grade. Those who know Megann and Abby would agree that their personalities couldn't be more different, but since they were 11 years old, they have been inseparable and the best of friends. Abby was Megann's favorite shopping buddy from middle to now, and never missed a change to ruin a Sim's life in their favorite computer game. Even through college, and now in their adult lives, they always make time for each other, usually with their usual BFF date spot to Olive Garden! Abby has been through it all with Megann, and has always stood by her side. After almost 15 years of such a wonderful friendship, Abby was an easy choice for Megann's Maid of Honor.
Best Man
Tyler has been Jeremy's friend since Tyler started at LTU in 2013 (with no beard if you can picture that). There have been a lot of great memories from consistently losing their voices at LTU hockey games, to leading the masses in the First Year Mentor program, to shenanigans at parties, and some awesome meet and greets for the Homecoming concerts (mainly Waka Flacka and Lil Dicky). Tyler was always asking Jeremy to hangout, calling him “lame” when Jeremy declined, which usually persuaded Jeremy to come hangout anyway. Even on Valentine's Day when in college, Jeremy and Tyler would get together with another friend, Dylan, to have pizza and beer. Through all the great times together, and more to come, he's one of Jeremy’s Best Men.
Matron of Honor
Anna and Megann met in college at Lawrence Tech. Though they were never roommates, they saw each other frequently, and quickly realized how similar they were. Both sassy and opinionated, but loving at the same time, it's funny how they don't butt heads as much as you would think. Anna has been with Megann through a lot, and was always ready and willing to give the best advice, or just listen. She is one of the few who will let Megann know when she's wrong, when necessary, but all out of love! Their favorite thing to do together is drink wine and eat Panera, and even though yoga and working out was fun and all, shopping at ULTA and Kohl's is just as much of a workout! As someone who truly understands what makes Megann tick, Anna was an easy choice as Megann's Matron of Honor.
Best Man
Pierce was a roommate of Jeremy’s (though it was brief) at the SigEp Fraternity house. Pierce was a great friend before this, however, he liked to set up traps with help from others to scare Jeremy while they were roommates. He made working in the concessions at Detroit Tiger Games enjoyable, even though Jeremy never wanted to be there, especially when WE THOUGHT we had to count the chicken tenders. Pierce’s consistency of ragging on Jeremy about "when he would actually graduate" helped propel him to get his degree from LTU. Pierce was a great Broomball player on our SigEp team, and helped their class group ace that ridiculous Tech & Prof project about getting dressed for hockey. All of his goobyness aside, he's one of Jeremy’s Best Men.
Bridesmaid
Megann met Erika through her brother, Chad, when they were in middle school and Erika was just 9 years old. Megann has always thought of Erika as a little sister, and spent so much of her time in middle and high school over at Erika and Chad's house, whether it was quality time with them, or with a group of friends. Knowing Megann for 15 years, Erika went through all sorts of high school drama and breakups by Megann's side, and Megann did the same for her. Megann knew she could depend on Erika for advice, and could tell her literally anything without fear of Erika changing how much she cares about her. Like Anna, Erika is not afraid to tell Megann what's up when she makes a mistake, but it's all out of love. Megann thinks of her as a little sister, and couldn't say "I do" without her!
Groomsman
Darius was a "doctor" and mentor in Jeremy’s life. When he wasn't checking in on Jeremy’s health or mood, he would be harassing Jeremy by scaring the crap out of him (seems counter-active, right?) but to repay the favor, Jeremy would get him back three or more times in return. In some cases, it would be at Meijer in Southfield when one of them would unexpectedly see each other grocery shopping. Though most of their conversations end up in some kind of Spongebob reference, clearly their degrees are paying off quite well. As their famous argument stands, pineapple does in fact go on pizza, and Jeremy hopes Darius will one day share that pizza with him, but he’s not holding his breath. All of the sarcastic arguing aside, he's one of Jeremy’s Groomsmen.
Bridesmaid
Megann met Sarah through one of her best friends, Dan (Groomsmen), when they started dating 6 years ago. They were both nervous, but it wasn't too long until they became close. Megann looks at Sarah like a sister; sharing clothes, incredibly detailed stories, laughs (because she's hilarious) and so many fun nights at one of their houses, another friend's house, out at the bars, or a destination like Traverse City! Sarah is always down to hang out and make Megann feel better when life just isn't going her way, and she is always there to listen and give advice. Megann and Sarah have built such a strong friendship in such a short time, but time means nothing when you find someone you truly get along with and makes life better. Sarah was an easy choice for a bridesmaid.
Groomsman
Dan and Jeremy met through Megann, as he's one of her childhood friends. Though they've only known each other for 3 years, Dan is a friend who Jeremy feels that he’s known for much longer. Jeremy thought that when he hit a drunken Dan with the bathroom door during a party, that was it for their friendship, but it continued to grow through get togethers and events. Like when Dan and Jeremy got to have a great weekend in Traverse City for a mini trip. Even though we obviously aren't from there, we still had a great combined 25th birthday weekend for Dan and Megann. As they both share a great passion for Post Malone, going to that concert together really solidified their friendship. Jeremy is so thankful that Megann shared this friend with him, because now he's one of Jeremy’s Groomsmen.
Bridesmaid
Megann was introduced to Jacquelyne by Jeremy, as he and Jacquelyne's now husband, Travis (Groomsmen) were part of the SigEp fraternity at Lawrence Tech. As Jacquelyne was a veteran SigEp girlfriend, she wasted no time getting to know Megann, and asked her to grab dinner one night when their boys were out of town. This meant so much to Megann, as a new SigEp girlfriend. Megann truly cherishes Jacquelyne's friendship, as after only 3 years, they are incredibly close. Their similar personalities click instead of clash, and neither one of them are afraid to dish out the sass to each other, or at either Jeremy or Travis when necessary! They share so many laughs, venting sessions, bottles of wine, and pasta dishes that Megann just couldn't imagine her big day without one of her favorite humans!
Groomsman
Travis is a Pittsburgh Penguins fan that somehow ended up in the Wedding Party. Travis and Jeremy started connecting through Fraternity events and trips together, that always had a memory or two attached to them. This included smuggling Yuengling into Michigan on the way home from trips, and riling each other up in the constant Penguins vs. Red Wings discussions. Jeremy would enjoy Travis’s surprise visits to the SigEp house when he and Pierce (Groomsmen) lived there, as Travis would stick around for a little while to hangout with them, even if it to try and track down an issue that the house was having. Jeremy didn’t have enough of “TRAAAAVIS” time leading up to the McCall wedding, but definitely plans on making up for the lost time. Because of this, he is one of Jeremy’s Groomsmen.
Bridesmaid
Megann and Suzann ended up as roommates freshman year by accident. Everything happens for a reason, as they formed an incredible friendship through the grueling 4 years of architecture school. Aside from the occasional, "I'm just going to drop out" comments coming from both of them, if it wasn't for Suzann, Megann would still be trying to graduate! Suzann was always there for Megann to bounce ideas off of, vent to, give advice, and watch Pitch Perfect while pulling all-nighters to get our projects done. She never missed an opportunity to show Megann love and support, like when she and Maddi (Bridesmaid) skipped studio to visit Megann to help her get through a breakup. Megann will always cherish the friendship she has with Suzann, and is so thrilled for Suzann to be in her wedding!
Groomsman
Sam is another childhood friend of Megann’s who Jeremy also feels like he’s known for a long time, but it has only been a few years. Initially when Jeremy and Sam met, Jeremy would brag about how the Lions were so much worse than the Red Wings any time Sam was around. Now unfortunately, both teams are fairly equal in the poor performance category. Jeremy and Sam rarely miss a bar crawl together, let alone never miss an opportunity to be awful at drinking games together. That is of course, when Sam isn’t spilling drinks on Jeremy and Megann’s carpet. Sam has always been a great friend, and for that, he’s one of Jeremy’s Groomsmen.
Bridesmaid
Megann and Shai met at the LTU scholarship banquet in the spring before the start of freshman year, as they just happened to be sitting at the same table! Both a little shy, kind of awkward 17 year-olds with their parents trying to get them to talk to each other, it obviously worked because here they are 8 years later. Shai always has Megann laughing, because whether Shai believes it or not, she's hilarious! Some of Megann's favorite times together have been out at the bars (particularly Sage Creek or the Doghouse), yoga and walks, Richard Simmons tapes, and the SnapChat that get her through the work day. Shai is always there for venting sessions, and to take a shot of vodka or whiskey afterwards, but especially to be a part of some of Megann's fondest memories, soon as a bridesmaid!
Groomsman
Jess was a roommate who had Jeremy’s stomach hurting from laughing all the time when they lived together for a little over a year. Jess and Jeremy went out with a bang at LTU (allegedly, then Jeremy ended up with a year more in his degree). Jess was an absolute riot during their final SigEp Song and Skit, Shrek, at LTU, by acting out Donkey while Jeremy was Shrek. They both also tried to go to as many parties as they could, even though they were becoming the oldest ones there. Even though Jess never understood Jeremy’s Spongebob references, and never laughed at YouTube videos or Vines that Jeremy thought were funny, he's one of Jeremy’s Groomsmen.
Bridesmaid
Again by accident, Megann and Maddi (along with Suzann (Bridesmaid)) began their freshman year together at LTU. A few weeks into the semester, Megann roped Maddi into helping her rearrange her side of them room, which is safe to say that’s where their friendship started. Through college, they never missed a chance to take ridiculous pictures, harass each other when one was trying to nap, or ridicule one another (including Suzann) when one of them said something stupid and it was forever recorded on the infamous quote board. But aside from all that, Maddi has always been supportive and caring, especially when she and Suzann (Bridesmaid) skipped studio one day to cheer Megann up after a breakup. Megann is blessed to have Maddi in her life, and to have Maddi as a part of her wedding!
Groomsman
Steve is a friend that has been with Jeremy since joining SigEp. Even though they antagonize each other at every opportunity that they get, it makes their friendship as great as can be. Jeremy remembers walking past Steve’s dorm when he first moved into LTU and thought “I don’t think I will ever talk to the guys in that room”. Boy, was Jeremy wrong. They’ve had a lot of great memories on Fraternity trips, LTU parties, food outings (when both of them were stuffing their faces), as well as when Jeremy embarrassed himself trying to play basketball at the Palace for a Pistons pickup game that Steve was invited to with Jeremy. Through all the great times, he’s one of Jeremy’s Groomsmen.
