In 2010, we met when Elizabeth's freshman team was playing Jeremy's school in a volleyball game. Elizabeth and her team had won the game and it was time for them to take a seat on the bleachers for Varsity to take the floor. Jeremy was with his friend Josh and they decided to go to the concession stand. As they walked by, Jeremy and Elizabeth locked eyes. While Jeremy and his friend were walking back into the gym they overheard Elizabeth and her friends laughing in a flirtatious way. Jeremy locked eyes with Elizabeth again and he leaned over to his friend and told him "Lets leave our schools side and go sit with those girls", Josh agreed and they made their way to the girls. When they sat down Jeremy sat next to Elizabeth and with a nervous voice asked her how she was doing. They then sat there for the next 45 minutes while once again, Fort Collins high destroyed the panthers. When it was time for Elizabeth to head back to Fort Collins they walked together to the bus. Elizabeth hugged Jeremy and they both agreed they would keep in touch. Elizabeth went home knowing she had met an amazing guy and Jeremy went home and told his mom that he had just met the woman he would marry someday. Little did they all know that the connection for life was truly made that night.
