Maid of Honor

Melida and I met when I started going to Church in the Son in 2015 and we hit it off very quickly. She bacame an intregal part of my singles small group, driving 45min each way for 2 years. Throughout the last few years we have laughed, cried and prayed many prayers together. Watching God do what He does best; be faithful. Although we have different cultural backgrounds, life experiences and interest... somehow God knitted us together by a common passion and burden. We became each others prayer partner and confidant throughout some very tough times. She proved to be that friend that is closer than a sister to me. I thank Heaven for her and her loyal friendship and am honored to have her standing by my side as my Maid of Honor on May 11th. <3

Matron of Honor

Veda is one of my oldest and dearest friends! I lovingly call her my historical/hysterical friend. I honestly can't remember the exact day we met, but I do know it was at church as teens. We became close after we were both married and had young children. Our lives continued to converge and as the years passed she proved to be the most loyal & faithful friend to me. She has seen me at my best and at my worst and never judged me or left my side. Her constant commitment to God and her family have inspired me and challenged me to do better. She is always giving away her time and her resources for others. Not only is she selfless, but she is also one of the most Godly examples of the Proverbs 31 woman I have ever met. I am so honored to have her by my side as I pledge my life on May 11th.

This beautiful lady is a more recent addition to my life and was introduced to me at her parents home. My group of friends were sharing about a recent mission trip to Haiti. We had an instant connection. It's amazing how much we have in common (divorced after 20 years of marriage etc.). She is a true giver. Always inspiring me and encouraging me (even when she is going through so much) I don't think I have ever met anyone quite like Dante'. She is one of the bravest and most courageous women I have met. A true Warrior!!! Our friendship has become a reliable source of strength and unconditional love. It never fails that I leave her presence feeling loved, appreciated, encouraged and uplifted. A truly amazing Individual that I am so honored and grateful to have by my side on May 11th.

Kyndol Somers

Words cannot truly describe what Kyndol means to me. My wedding party would not be complete without her by my side. We have grown up together in many ways. I was only 19 when she was born (seems like forever ago). When she was younger I used to say "I'm not your friend, I'm your Mom". Thank God that role changes as they become adults. I am so proud to say now, that she is not only my daughter, but also my friend. Kyndol is beautiful inside and out, her love for others and heart for Jesus is both inspiring and contagious. Watching her grow and learn about Him has been one of my greatest blessings. I am honored and overjoyed to have her by my side as I celebrate our love on May 11th.

When the bible talks about friendship I think Nicole's picture should be right there beside these scriptures. She has all the wonderful attributes of a true friend that I have always asked God for. She is kind, forgiving, truthful, thoughtful and loyal to the end. Our first introduction was at CITS and if i remember correctly it was her first visit. Talk about a divine appointment!! Our friendship has blossomed in the past 2 years and she has stuck by me through thick and thin. She has cried with me in my heartbreak, both challenged me and sharpened me, as well as celebrated with me in my victories. I believe she was truly sent from heaven and I am honored to know her and to have her stand by my side on May 11th.

It was no accident that I met Cate! She just so 'happened' be my neighbor when my kids were all teens. It was a difficult time in my life, to say the least. She was the epitome of the perfect neighbor. Her and her husband Jim took a liking to my kids and were so caring and supportive to me during my divorce, graciously allowing me, my son Kody and a 100 pound lab to live with them for months. Although this could have ruined any friendship, it just bound us together in a very unique way. I am so forever grateful for her unconditional love and acceptance and I am so honored to have her by my side as I pledge my life on May 11th.
