Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Question

No phones allowed during the Ceremony?

Answer

We want to capture this day as accurately, and intimately as possible. In doing so, we've entrusted our photographers to help capture this day and they will do a great job doing so. Therefore, we ask all guests to turn off devices during our Ceremony.

Question

What time does the wedding start?

Answer

The Ceremony starts promptly at 5:30PM. Cheekwood is a public park and the gates to the public close at 5PM sharp. Our guests will be admitted after 5:00PM through the Forrest Park Drive main entrance and should arrive as close to that time as possible so that you have plenty of time to get to the site of our ceremony in the Howe Garden. We will provide shuttle transportation to/from The Thompson Hotel, La Quinta and Holiday Inn, the three hotels where we have rooms reserved. For those of you not taking the shuttle, Cheekwood will have designated parking spots (Lots B and C near the Children's Garden) for you blocked off after 5PM. While we want everyone to enjoy and witness the ceremony, due to the location and layout, late guests will not be able to be seated. If you are late to the ceremony, our wedding planner will guide you to wait in our cocktail hour area until the ceremony has concluded. Following the ceremony, we invite guests to a cocktail hour in the Children's Garden. Post cocktail hour, guests will move and be seated at the Frist Learning Center courtyard to enjoy a plated dinner with your RSVP meal choice, followed by dancing.

Question

What's a 'post toast'?

Answer

We hadn't heard of it either until we booked our rehearsal dinner venue, The Bridge! A "post toast" is a welcome party to be held after our rehearsal dinner. We want this entire weekend to be unforgettable, and we want to spend as much time with our loved ones as possible. We invite all wedding guests to enjoy music, drinks, dessert and fellowship starting at 8:00 PM at The Bridge, located on the river across from Downtown Nashville on Friday night. This will be a fun, come-and-go event. For our out-of-town guests, this will be a great opportunity to see Nashville in its prime!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We are having a family friendly wedding! Although we wanted to invite every guest's family, we are limited on space. If your invitation includes your children, then they are more than welcome to join us. Unfortunately, if your invitation does not include your children, we kindly ask for you to only RSVP for the number included on the invitation.

Question

Dress code?

Answer

For the Post Toast on Friday night, we suggest "smart, dressy casual", making sure to bring a jacket or something light to wear for an outer layer, as we will have some outdoor space. For the ceremony and reception on Saturday, we are requiring "semi-formal/cocktail attire". Also, as we will be outdoors on uneven surfaces and grass, we suggest wearing shoes that are conducive to walking on these surfaces. Also, we suggest bringing a jacket or wrap in case the temperature cools off once the sun sets. We kindly ask no jeans on either Friday or Saturday.

Question

How do I get to the wedding and reception at Cheekwood?

Answer

Cheekwood is located at 1200 Forrest Park Drive, Nashville, TN 37205. It is ~20 minutes outside of downtown Nashville. If you are staying in one of the three preferred hotels where we have rooms reserved, there will be shuttle service to/from the wedding. The shuttle service will pick up in the hotel lobby at the following times: -The Thompson 4:15pm -La Quinta Downtown Stadium 4:15pm -Holiday Inn Downtown Stadium 4:25pm If you're driving your own car, please plan to arrive after 5:00PM through the Forrest Park Drive main entrance and park in the Children's Garden lots B or C. We do encourage car pooling or using a ride share service like Uber or Lyft.

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 26th, 2025 by utilizing the RSVP function on our website. If you do not RSVP by the given date, we will assume that you are unable to attend. Events will have personalized seating arrangements and menu options and will include RSVP'd guests only.

Question

How do I get to the Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party?

Answer

Both events take place at The Bridge Building, 2 Victory Avenue, Nashville. Please Uber or Lyft to these events as the normal parking for The Bridge Building is being utilized by the Rock and Roll Marathon which is taking place this weekend at Nissan Stadium.
