Thanksgiving, sweet friends, good food, a warm fire and southern charm brought us two together. After months of long distance and burning up I-75 Jeremy won me over on Valentines weekend with his homemade lasagna & it has been love like XO ever since.

Jeremy and I continued our long distance relationship into that summer after I graduated college and moved back home to Leesburg, GA. At that point in our lives, we both knew what we wanted in a relationship and we were both ready to see what our future was going to hold for the two of us. That September, Jeremy got a call from Spurs Sports and Entertainment and offered him a position as the building operations manager in San Antonio, Texas. For Jeremy this was a large opportunity in his career and an exciting chance to start our future together. So we loaded up the U-Haul and after hugging our supporting families to death we trucked state-by-state to the Alamo city! We now live together in a downtown loft apartment right in the city of San Antonio, Texas where you can usually find us down on the River Walk, stuffing our faces with enchiladas, cheering on the Spurs or planning our Georgia wedding!

On the weekend of the anniversary we started dating, Jeremy booked us flights to spend the weekend in the North Georgia Mountains with our friends from Georgia. The first night we were there we hiked to Falls Branch Falls before dinner and just after taking a picture in front of the beautiful waterfall I saw Jeremy get down on one knee. We hugged, we cried, we laughed, I said YES and we cried some more. To this day, I still don’t know how I packed that man’s suitcase without finding the ring!
