We met July 3rd of 2022 in Goddard, KS at Adam and Jaime Beck's 4th of July party. I didn't know anyone because I was visiting Aunt Kim for the weekend, and she sat me directly next to the only guy in the room who looked remotely my age. He was exhausted from a trip he had just gotten back from but perked up when I said I was visiting from Montana. Somehow, he got the message that my family owned a Montanan ranch, and I worked on it. That couldn't be further from the truth, but thankfully he took a liking to me anyway! We spent the whole next day at the continued party getting to know one another before I left town. He promised to come visit me, and the next thing I knew, I had this almost stranger taking a week off of work and flying into Missoula to spend a week with me! We both describe that week as a dream come true. It was just perfect, and he kept surprising me in the best ways with his character, his heart, and how he cared for me.

We met in July 2022 and began dating on September 19, 2022. I moved home to Chico, CA from Montana on January 1, 2023 and moved to Wichita, KS on August 29, 2023. After building our relationship mainly from a distance, we had a challenging first year together, resulting in a time of separation. After lots of self-reflection, prayer, and time with good community, it was clear the Lord kept one another in our hearts for a reason, and Jeremy reached out to me again. We began dating again in August 2024, this time with clear priorities and hearts equally set on the Lord. In December 2024, while we were visiting my family for Christmas, Jeremy asked my parents for my hand in marriage, and on March 22, 2025, he proposed. I love our story and where it's brought us, and we're so thankful to all of those who have surrounded us in prayer and support along the way!
