Grove's Black Dog Saloon
This isn't in Glenwood, but it's worth the 15 minute drive. It's where he had our first date, attend "Teacher Appreciation Night" on Thursdays, and got engaged. We love it!
Slope & Hatch
In the mood for tacos and/or hotdogs? This is the place for you. We've never tried anything we didn't like. Our fav is the fried calamari tacos!

Iron Mountain Hot Springs
Even though this is much better in the winter, it's still pretty amazing during summertime. Go relax after a long day of hiking or maybe the morning after a long night of celebrating at a wedding.
Sunlight Mountain Resort
We obviously love Sunlight. During the summer, hit the slopes to hike, mountain bike, or play some disc golf!
Glenwood Adventure Company
They've got white water rafting, river equipment rentals, bike riding, horse back riding, ATV tours, escape rooms and more. There's something for everyone there.
Hanging Lake
You have to pay to take a shuttle and hike here but it's BEAUTIFUL.
Rifle Mountain Park
If you're a climber, this might be on your bucket list. Go check it out for some world class climbing! (Bring $5 to get in the park).
Rifle Falls State Park
Mount Sopris
If you're up for the challenge, the views at the top of Sopris are pretty amazing. But be warned-- even though it's not a 14-er it's one of the hardest hikes we've ever done! Start early and give yourself lots of time to hike.
