Jeremy & Haley met 6 years ago in 2015 on a social media platform! They both were not expecting anything to come out of it, but boy were they wrong! Their first date was on July 7, 2015. Haley was a little hesitant so she suggested they go to a crowded, public area - so they ended up going to a Royal's game! So many laughs were shared and Haley knew right then and there that Jeremy was someone really special! The couple say that's when & where "It all started". They decided to make things official on July 28, 2015 and have been inseparable ever since. Haley loves how patient and loving Jeremy is and Jeremy appreciates Haley for her strong will and passionate personality! The two have been through so much together, but always knew they had found their person in each other. After moving to a different city together they realized how much they missed being around their family so they moved back up to Kansas City where they still reside! Jeremy had gotten plenty of hints and nudged from family and good friends, so he put a proposal into the works! In late July of 2020, Jeremy planned a surprise trip for them to Colorado (Haley had NO idea). They spent everyday traveling, experiencing a new adventure and taking in all the views that we know as Colorado! On July 28, 2020 Jeremy was acting a little off (funny, right?). They explored downtown Denver that day and Jeremy said they needed to get ready for another surprise he had planned that evening! Jeremy told Haley to doll-up and they were off! An hour and a half later, Jeremy and Haley were hiking up a mountain to get to this beautiful spot on Long Lake in Ward, Colorado. Haley was so confused as the weather dropped down to 55 degrees and she was hiking through the woods in a dress and flip flops (be sure to ask Haley the story, it's quite funny)! After taking in the view, having a peaceful time together, Jeremy asked Haley to spend the rest of his life with him and become his wife! Of course, she said YES!
