Welcome to Stockholm!

The Wedding Website of Jeremy Panchuk and Gabriella Bergström
The ceremony and reception will be held in central Stockholm so there is no need to rent a car, as everything will be within walking distance if you stay in the recommended area! Please see links below for information on the recommended hotels and areas to stay!

Travel Note

Recomended area for hotels

A few suggestions: Mornington, Hotel Esplanade, Scandic Anglais, Scandic Park, Elite Eden, Clarion Collection Hotel Wellington

Travel Note

Currency & cash

As you may know, the currency used in Sweden is Swedish Krona. However, there is no need to bring a lot of cash before coming here as Sweden is pretty much a cash-free country (risk you'll end up bringing the bills back home). If you would like to travel to some of our neighboring countries the currencies are Danish Krona, Norwegian Krona, and Euro for Finland. But also in these countries card is king :)

Travel Note

Getting to the city

If you are flying in to Stockholm, the closest airport is Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Taking a taxi to your hotel is the best bet, make sure to confirm the price with the driver before you get in the car (should cost around 695 kronor).

Restaurants

Stockholm has some amazing restaurants and bars. Below are some of our favorites! A few things to note before you check our recommendations out: 1. We do recommend you making dinner reservations in advance for most restaurants as it can get pretty busy. See links below for some good restaurants! 2. Tipping is not really a think in Sweden so just pay the normal price! 3. Restaurants: Riche - Birger Jarlsgatan 4 - DINNER/LUNCH/DRINK Great restaurant and bar with some good people watching. If you want some solid Swedish Meatballs, this is the place to go to! PS at night this is more of a party spot with loud music Hillenberg - Humlegårdsgatan 14 - DINNER/DRINKS Cool bar, good food, great atmosphere. Flickorna Helin - Rosendalsvägen 14 - FIKA/CASUAL LUNCH The castle-like building is located along the pedestrian path on Djurgården (“The Royal Game Park”), and it’s a great place for lunch or a fika between visits to Skansen, the Vasa Museum, and other nearby attractions. TAK - Brunkebergstorg 2-4 - DRINKS Great rooftop terrace with good views. A Bar Called Gemma - Grev Turegatan 30 - DRINKS Great cocktail bar in the center of Stockholm. Awesome craft cocktails, good service. Cozy spot! Knut - Regeringsgatan 77 - DINNER/DRINKS Norrland food at its best, our favorite restaurant in the city!
