They both moved to Arizona to be with friends and eventually met online. Emma made a fool of herself on both the first and second date but that's a big part of why Jeremy fell in love with her. He quizzed her on music artists while they danced and she could only name 3 out of 12. The next date Emma tried to surprise Jeremy by cooking dinner....only to cook fajitas using all the vegetables that Jeremy hates! He was polite and ate it all but luckily Emma quickly learned that onions are NOT on the grocery list. Jeremy was always sweet and helped her move furniture into her best friends house and then even unloaded the majority of her storage unit. Emma moved in quickly (mostly to get out of Daniele's hair) and the rest is history...
