It was three years ago around Halloween, when we had our first date. As he says he rolled up in his Dodge truck to pick me up and I was hooked. Ha... I'll let him think that. His sarcasm was somehow charming to me, three years later and I don't think he knows anything but sarcasm. We just hit it off. Everything about that day was perfect, from lunch, where I picked the onions off my salad and Jeremy looked over to Mike cracking up and he says it was love at first sight. Side note: we both hate onions. To all the laughs. As the day went on I realized how much of a gentleman he was, which many of you know that is hard to come by these days. Fast forward to a few months later he asked me to be his girlfriend at a look out point in Bodega, yes he is very much a romantic, he asked me to marry him at that exact spot. After one year of dating we moved in together. I had never lived anywhere but the house I grew up in so it was a huge step. Some people say living together is a huge transition, it either makes you or it breaks you. All couples argue, as do we, but we aren't afraid to speak our minds and work out our issues. We both have amazing parents that raised us right and taught us that you work through all problems no matter how big or small. Both sets of parents have been married for over 30 years and that is what Jeremy and I strive for. After about a year and a half together Jeremy surprised me with our dog Maycee who we both can't picture life without. It was tough raising a puppy, heck it still is, but we wouldn't change it for the world. Our love is one of a kind and we are so excited for this new journey ahead and to have each and every one of you there every step of the way. "Marriage is about becoming a team. You're going to spend the rest of your life learning about each other, and every now and then, things blow up. But the beauty of marriage is that if you picked the right person and both love each other, you'll always figure out a way to get through it."
