How did you guys meet?
Answer
In 2018 Jeremy was running a Congressional campaign in eastern Washington state, when Claire, a wine student at Washington State University, saw him eat a piece of margherita pizza in the campaign office. She was immediately offended that he didn't propose to her right then, so two weeks later after Jeremy apologized and we admitted we loved each other, we moved in together.

Whats new in your lives?
Answer
You mean aside from this beautiful wedding? Jeremy has been working in politics and political campaigns since 2016, including on high-profile races for President and Congress. He's currently the political representative for the New York State United Teachers in New York City and Long Island. You can ask him about it but we don't recommend it unless you want to have a long and frankly too in-depth conversation about New York City Council politics in eastern Queens. Claire majored in Viticulture and Enology at Washington State University and has worked in many levels of wine sales and production, including in wineries, tasting rooms, wine bars, and now in sales off-premesis for Empire Wine Merchants in Manhattan. She is the top saleswoman in her division. She knows exactly what kind of wine you like.

What's next for you two?
Answer
We want to build a small place by a river or lake where we can have our friends over and where Claire can raise goats and quail. We want to help build a New York City for everyone, with affordbale housing, fast trains, and great schools. We hope you visit us!
